Loan exit for Saganowski

Marek Saganowski has agreed to change from English first division Southampton to UEFA Champions League bound Aalborg BK.

Stale striker
Southampton striker Marek Saganowski has joined Danish Superliga club Aalborg BK on loan until the end of December. Saints boss Jan Poortvliet has barely used the 29-year-old Poland international in the club’s pre-season games, even though the forward has found the net 13 times in 28 starts during his 18 months at St Mary’s. Southampton director Andrew Cowan told the club’s official website: “We wish Marek all the best during his time in Denmark and hopefully he will do well for AaB.” Aalborg are currently managed by former Arsenal boss Bruce Rioch.
