GENOA, Italy. Apr 14 (LR) — According to Italian press, Robert Lewandowski will next season be officially transferred to Genoa CFC!
This information was found on Wednesday in the Italian media. The Serie A club denies these claims.
About the transfer of the KKS Lech Poznan player wrote the daily La Repubblic. According to the newspaper the Pole will substitute David Suazo, who is on loan until June with Inter Milan.
The club from Genoa has so far denied these allegations.
“In view of the information published today by the media, Genoa strongly denies that it has reached agreement to the acquire Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski,” says the official press release of the Italian club.
Genoa authorities stress that if any of the possible transfers will be made, they will be informed from the web site of the club.
A transfer for the ‘Polish Torres’ to Genoa has been speculated for a long time now and is nothing new.
In March, the Italian club’s director flew to Poland, Fabrizio Preziosi, who spoke with the player and his manager, Cezary Kucharski. At the time no agreement was made.
