SIDE, Turkey. February 8 (PSN) – Zhu Jiong, the coach of CSL club Guizhou Renhe FC, has told media that Krzysztof Maczynski is considered to be an important player for his newly rejuvenated side.
The Polish midfielder moved to China from Gornik Zabrze in January 2014.
“We have changed our team, we have younger players, so an experienced player like Krzysztof is very important,” said Jiong, which has been busy making big changes to his roster since last season, opting for a more youthful approach.
Guizhou Renhe are currently in winter break and are working hard in their training camp in Side, Turkey.
“We are building a new team, I think we will be better than before. And Krzysztof is working hard in training, fighting in every game, has the experience, plays on the Polish national team and it can be a good example for others. Polish footballers playing in China have always been known for their bravery. I like that.”
Bogdan Zajac, assistant coach for Adam Nawalka for the national team has also been keenly observing Maczynski.
“I do not want to embellish Krzysztof, but he showed himself from a good side. He is one of the four foreigners on the Chinese team, and a determinant of his position in the team. His form is growing quickly.” said Zajac.
