LEGNICA, Poland. February 17 (PSN) – Jorge Kadu has tied up a half-year contract with 1 Liga outfit MKS Miedz Legnica.
The Republic of Cape Verde forward played most recently for Zawisza Bydgoszcz in the T-Mobile Ekstraklasa.
Kadu terminated his contract with Zawisza on February 2. On Saturday, he was appeared in an exhibition match for Miedz against Gornik Walbrzych.
A few days after he signed a six-month contract with the Legnica club.
Miedz coach Janusz Kudyba has made it clear that Kadu is suffering a severe shortage of stamina. Therefore he will have to train under the guidance of the physical preparation coach for a while.
“We know the value of this player and we treat him as an investment for the future. When we bring him back to optimal form, he can certainly be a big gain for us.” stated Kudyba.
Kadu appeared a year ago in Poland, scoring against Wisla Krakow in his debut for Zawisza.
In total, he played 33 matches and scored 6 goals in the colors of Zawisza in all competitions.
