WARSAW, Poland. February 25 (PSN) – Legia Warsaw midfielder Ondrej Duda has been included in the match squad for Thursday’s match.
It is very probable that he will play, or the very least see some minutes against Ajax Amsterdam in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League.
The official website for Legia Warsaw has confirmed that Ondrej Duda will feature in Thursday’s rematch against Ajax.
Previously injured during a winter off-season exhibition match, the Slovak winger missed out on the first leg game with Ajax in Amsterdam.
Fortunately, he returned to training this week and will be included in the match squad. It is unsure how many minutes he will see on the pitch due to missing out several weeks on the sideline.
“If the coach will want to play me against Ajax, I will be ready.” Duda told reporters this week when asked on his current status for the Ajax game.
While Duda returns to the team, Legia will be missing Igor Lewczuk and Dominik Furman for Thursday. In addition, Miroslav Radovic will also not play due to leaving the club for China earlier this week.
Legia lost 0:1 to Ajax in the first leg.
Legia’s squad for the second leg against Ajax:
