BUJE, Croatia. March 6 (PSN) – The Polish women’s national team match with hosts Croatia ended in a goalless draw on Friday.
This was the second game in Group B in the exhibition tournament, the 2015 Istria Women’s Cup.
Coming off a superb 2:0 win with Northern Ireland, the Poland WNT looked forward to stealing points from host side Croatia to remain first place in Group B. While both sides had several equally well scoring opportunities, neither was unable to successfully pull the trigger and finish.
Croatia also drew 0:0 in their first match with Romania.
The bialo-czerwoni will play their last group stage match on Monday with Romania, who defeated Northern Ireland 1:0.
