Nawalka Releases Poland Call-ups for Ireland

WARSAW, Poland. March 12 (PSN) – Poland coach Adam Nawalka has released his full list of call-ups for Poland’s next UEFA EURO 2016 Qualifier against Ireland.

In accordance to earlier unofficial information, Borussia Dortmund’s Jakub Blaszczykowski was in fact not called up for the Polish national team in the important qualifying match against Ireland.

The Poles take on the Republic of Ireland on March 29 in Dublin.

Amongst the called up players are those who recently had outstanding performances in the T-Mobile Ekstraklasa: Maciej Gajos (Jagiellonia Bialystok) and Karol Linetty (Lech Poznan).

After four rounds the bialo-czerwoni currently lead their UEFA EURO 2016 group with 10 points, meanwhile Ireland occupy fourth place (7 points). They are tied in points with both Germany and Scotland. In fifth place sits Georgia (3 points), and last with zero points closes Gibraltar.

    Disgusting that Kuba, the “former” (?) Captain has not even been called in as a reserve. What a joke and totally disrespectfull to a player who has given so much for the national team. What a discgrace.
