BYDGOSZCZ, Poland. March 16 (PSN) – Zawisza Bydgoszcz since the beginning of the spring round in the T-Mobile Ekstraklasa has presented itself in top form.
The last place team has now joined the fight to avoid relegation and according to the club’s owner, Radoslaw Osuch there is a good chance of remaining in the league.
In the most recent round Zawisza defeated favourites Lech Poznan 1:0 before a home crowd.
In the opinion of Osuch, such a prestigious win has given his team additional strength and a moral boost for their next important fixtures.
“Please see how great these players are fighting on the pitch. For me, this victory is the second highest achievement in the history of the club after winning the Puchar Polski,” Osuch told “SportoweFakty”.
“We already defeated everyone but we missed on having Lech in our collection.”
“This is not the last victory for my players who are featuring such high form. If it continues, I firmly believe we will be able to avoid relegation.” he added.
