WARSAW, Poland. March 28 (PSN) – The Polish women’s national team moved up three positions in the latest FIFA rankings.
The recent rankings were published on Friday by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
In the new rankings released, Poland now sits 32 in the world of women’s football. Meanwhile, Germany remain as the current leaders on the list.
They are followed by the women’s national teams of the USA and France.
It brings little surprise with the recent jump in rankings as Wojciech Basiuk’s team has shown impressive form these past months, lately winning the 2015 Istria Cup in Croatia.
The continued successful pairing of Ewa Pajor and Patrycja Balcerzak upfront will be instrumental for Basiuk’s side to further rise in the ranking list.
