
EERIKKILA, Finland. April 6 (PSN) – The Polish women’s national team gave fans a wonderful gift for Easter in Eerkikkila on Monday.
The bialo-czerwoni defeated Finland 3:1 in an away exhibition match.
Ewelina Kamczyk, Natalia Chudzik and Dominika Grabowska scored the three goals for Poland.
Poland WNT coach Wojciech Basiuk was very pleased with the performance and result of his team, which has continuously been improving.
“I am enjoying the level of our game, especially in the first half, when we showed that we are moving in the right direction. The girls rose to the occasion.” said Basiuk after the match.
“In a few days we play in Zabki with France. It will be a demanding rival, I would like for us to play the same way we did with Finland. However, we are aware that it will not be easy.”
The Polish WNT land back in Warsaw on Tuesday. On Wednesday they will use as a training day, while on Thursday they will take on France B in Zabki.
