Lewandowski Tops Manchester United’s Summer Wish List

MANCHESTER, England. April 21 (PSN) – News about the interest of Robert Lewandowski on the part of Manchester United is no longer startling news these days.

The Pole supposedly at the moment has become the number one priority on the Red Devils transfer wish list.

As a result, it is very likely the Premiership club will be looking to buy “Lewy” this summer.

Thus far it was Edinson Cavani who was in first place on the Manchester United transfer list. However, that has clearly since changed.

The Uruguayan has decided that he would rather not leave PSG and United gaffer Louis van Gaal has since changed priorities.

Now the Dutch manager wants to bring in Lewandowski to Old Trafford.

Manchester will have a sizable budget for the summer which means that they have some real financial freedom for the upcoming transfer market.

Unsurprisingly, van Gaal is willing on spending the lion’s share of the budget on the purchase of the Polish national team captain.

English press “Daily Express” estimate that the Dutchman can expect to pay Bayern Munich up to 50 million euros for Lewandowski.

United are not the only club that want to capture Lewandowski’s signature during this summer transfer window.

Likewise in Spain, the Pole has received plenty of interest from Atletico Madrid according to local papers.
