EL: Legia and Lech One Step Closer to Group Stage Qualification

KYIV, Ukraine. August 20 (PSN) – In the first leg of the Fourth Qualifying Round of the UEFA Europa League both Legia Warsaw and Lech Poznan earned wins.

Legia defeated Zoria 1:0 in Ukraine, while Lech outed Videoton 3:0 in Poland.

Legia Warsaw took a giant step towards the qualification for the UEFA Europa League group stage on Thursday. The military outfit defeated FC Zorya Luhansk 1:0 (0:0) with a lone goal from Kucharczyk. Now they sit in a very comfortable situation before the second leg at Lazienkowska.

In Poznan it was no secret that the match with Videoton would be the most important for the Kolejorz in the last five years.
