EURO 2016: Call Ups for Germany and Gibraltar Released

WARSAW, Poland. August 31 (PSN) – Adam Nawalka completed his Polish national team squad call-ups for the September UEFA EURO 2016 qualifiers with Germany and Gibraltar.

Among the players called up by Adam Nawalka is rookie Cracovia midfielder, Bartosz Kapustka.

The 18-year-old debuted on the Cracovia first team last season, making 28 appearances and scoring 3 goals.

In addition, a more surprising call up of Lechia Gdansk midfielder Sebastian Mila lead to some controversy in the local papers. Mila, who has in the past shown strong performances for Nawalka’s team on the international level is now showcasing very poor form in the Ekstraklasa.

Several experts don’t agree with Nawalka’s decision to reward Mila with the appointment, while the player himself simply admitted that “things are usually unfair in football.”

On September 4 the Polish national team will face Germany in Frankfurt.

Three days later in Warsaw, the bialo-czerwoni will take on the weakest team of Group D, Gibraltar.
