
MUNICH, Germany. September 22 (PSN) – Robert Lewandowski scored a record 5 goals in a matter of 9 minutes for Bayern Munich against Vfl Wolfsburg on Tuesday.
Bayern were down 0:1 at halftime with Wolfsburg leading the game thanks to a goal from Daniel Caligiuri.
It was having come on at halftime that Robert Lewandowski completely changed the game for the home side. The super substitute utterly ripped Wolfsburg apart to spur the hosts to a 5:1 victory.
In a complete solo effort, Lewandowski fired 5 goals in 9 minutes. It was, perhaps, the most inspired substitution in the history of soccer.
