WARSAW, Poland. January 11 (PSN) – Both Kasper Hamalainen and Ariel Borysiuk have became the two new incoming transfers at Legia Warsaw.
The Finland international at the end of the year departed from rivals Lech Poznan when his contract expired. At the Warsaw club he now joins on a free transfer signing a 3.5-year contract – reports the capital club’s official website, “Legia.com”.
The 29-year-old midfielder spent the last three years at Lech Poznan. In the autumn round he played 15 matches and scored 8 goals.
At the Legion the Finn will take the number 22 shirt.
Meanwhile, Ariel Borysiuk has also successfully passed a medical and signed a contract with Legia until June 2019. He will wear the number 7 shirt.
The 24-year-old central midfielder comes to the Legion after leaving Lechia Gdansk. For Borysiuk this is not new grounds but a return to his former club. Previously from 2007-11 he wore the ‘elka’ on his chest in 90 Ekstraklasa matches while scoring 4 goals.
These are the two latest winter transfers for Legia, who already acquired Artur Jedrzejczyk (FK Krasnodar), Jaroslaw Niezgoda (Wisla Pulawy), and Konrad Handzlik (Wisla Krakow, from July) earlier this window.
