KRAKOW, Poland. February 24 (PSN) – Rafal Wolski has been loaned out to Wisla Krakow from AFC Fiorentina.
The agreement includes a transfer option from the definitive contract for three years.
“I’m going back to Poland after three years. My time abroad was at times good and not so good. More recently I sat on the bench and I had enough of this. I want to play more. I hope that here I will be able to do just that,” revealed the new White Star player on the club’s official page.
The 23-year-old midfielder last played in Belgian side KV Mechelen. In the current season he appeared in eleven games.
“To a certain point playing abroad was great for me. Unfortunately, later came two loan moves and not everything went exactly as planned.” said Wolski who had unsuccessful loan spells at Bari and KV Mechelen.
Wolski joins Wisla on a six-month loan contract where he will be filling in the creative midfielder role that the team desperately lacks.
“For sure I want to help the team. I know what kind of players are here, this team has a lot more potential, and I see myself here in the role of the typical number 10.” rated Wolski.
