POZNAN, Poland. June 2 (PSN) – Radoslaw Majewski is the latest transfer for the Kolejorz.
On Wednesday the 29-year-old midfielder penned a contract with Lech Poznan.
With the Poznan club he joins on free transfer and signed a three-year contract.
For the past year Majewski played for Greek club PAE Veria.
He appeared in 33 matches and scored 4 goals and recorded 4 assists. Previously he spent several years playing in England below the Premiership.
“After his transfer the rivalry in the midfield will certainly be greater.
“We needed a creative player, but one who will also fight for the ball. Radek has that experience from the tough English league. We hope that he will be good addition the team,” emphasizes Karol Klimczak, President of Lech.
Majewski is the third transfer by the Kolejorz in the off-season. Earlier contracts with the Poznan club were already signed with goalkeeper Matus Putnocky and defender Lasse Nielsen.
Lech begin their pre-season training camp on June 13.
