Poland Boss Adam Nawalka Signs New Deal

WARSAW, Poland. July 6 (PSN) – Adam Nawalka agreed to sign a new contract extension with the PZPN (Polish Football Association) on Wednesday.

The new contract will see the former Gornik Zabrze coach continue to be the Poland manager for at least until the end of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification.

Nawalka took the reins of the Poland national team back in October 2013. At the end of last year, he led his team to advance for UEFA EURO 2016 in France.

The bialo-czerwoni completed their participation there in the quarter-finals, succumbing on penalties to Portugal.

Poland will begin their process to qualify for 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia with a Group E clash against Kazakhstan on September 4.

Denmark, Armenia, Montenegro and Romania are also in the same qualification group.
