Blaszczykowski Makes Move to VfL Wolfsburg

WOLFSBURG, Germany. August 1 (PSN) – Jakub Blaszczykowski has left Borussia Dortmund to make a move to VfL Wolfsburg.

The 30-year-old Poland national team winger has signed a contract with Wolfsburg until 2019.

Błaszczykowski, who scored 18 goals in 84 games for the national team, spent last season on loan at Italian outfit ACF Fiorentina.

Unfortunately, he did not have a strong season there due to injury and no talk about extending his loan came up.

Previously, he played for eight seasons in Dortmund. With the departure of Jurgen Klopp from the club in 2015 the popular ‘Kuba’ found no favour in new boss Thomas Tuchel.

The Pole’s new club sat in eighth place last season in the Bundesliga.
