
CHORZOW, Poland. August 31 (PSN) – 21-year-old striker Mariusz Stepinski is the new player of French side FC Nantes.
The Poland international joined the club on a four-year contract.
Since the 2015/16 season he played his club football for Ruch Chorzow in the LOTTO Ekstraklasa.
In the current season he appeared in five games and scored three goals.
On the national team he has made three caps to his name to date. Stepinski was also included on Poland’s roster for UEFA EURO 2016 but did not make an appearance.
In the past, several other well known Polish players played for the French club such as Robert Gadocha, Jakub Kosecki (youth team), Roman Kosecki and Grzegorz Krychowiak.
FC Nantes after three rounds in Ligue 1 currently sit in 17th place in the league table with three points.
