Teodorczyk the Difference Maker in Slovenia Encounter

WROCLAW, Poland. November 14 (PSN) – In the last international match of the year, the Poland national team drew with Slovenia in an exhibition match in Wroclaw.

Final score: Poland – Slovenia 1:1

Miha Mevlja scored the lone goal for the guests, meanwhile Lukasz Teodorczyk responded with a goal for the Poles.

Adam Nawalka chose to play the match with mostly reserve players, allowing key players like Robert Lewandowski, Grzegorz Krychowiak and Kamil Glik to rest in order to not risk injury.

The bialo-czerwoni therefore were unable to complete a successful victory to cap the year off – a successful year in which Poland reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA EURO 2016 in France, and later took the lead in Group E for FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifying.
