
GENOA, Italy. January 4 (PSN) – Bartosz Bereszynski has successfully passed his medical and signed with UC Sampdoria.
Bereszynski joins the Italian side on a 4.5-year contract.
The 24-year-old right-back for the last four years played at Legia Warsaw. Together with the capital club he won the Polish championship three times and twice the Puchar Polski.
In total, in the colours of Legia he appeared in 73 Ekstraklasa games and scored 1 goal. In addition Bereszynski has been capped 3 times for the Polish national team.
At his new club he will play with the shirt number 24.
Sampdoria currently now sit in thirteenth place in the Serie A league table with 23 points after 18 matches.
Former Lech Poznan player Karol Linetty currently plays for the club, and in the past both Bartosz Salamon and Pawel Wszolek represented the Sampdoria badge.
