Kiko Ramirez Fills Vacancy at Wisla Krakow Job

KRAKOW, Poland. January 4 (PSN) – Kiko Ramirez will be the new coach of Ekstraklasa side Wisla Krakow.

The Spaniard will be officially presented during Thursday’s press conference according to Przeglad Sportowy.

News regarding the hiring of a new coach by Wisla has been a hot topic since Dariusz Wdowczyk left the club back in November. Since then the Krakow club relied on its assistant coaches to lead the team rather than hire an interim coach.

The 46-year-old’s entire coaching career had been previously spent in Spain, where he mostly worked at the third division level. At this level he led such teams like Gimnastic de Taraggona and CE L’Hospitalet.

Ramirez has also held a position with fourth division club CD Castellon, which he said goodbye to at the end of last season.

Radoslaw Sobolewski and Kazimierz Kmiecik will remain in the new coaching staff as assistants.
