Mamrot Takes Over for Probierz at Jagiellonia

BIALYSTOK, Poland. June 14 (PSN) – Ireneusz Mamrot will be the new coach of Jagiellonia Bialystok.

The 46-year-old last spent the past seven years at Chrobry Glogow in the Nice 1 Liga and has now made the jump to the LOTTO Ekstrakalasa.

Mamrot led Chrobry since 2010 and with the team from Glogow he quickly managed to jump up from the third to the first league level. For the past three seasons his team had no major problems in the Nice 1 Liga – every time he was able to remain with a safe place in the middle of the table.

Coming to Bialystok, Mamrot replaces the fan favourite Michal Probierz, who decided against extending his contract with the club after finishing second place this season with Jagiellonia.

Probierz has cited that he wishes to try his hand again at coaching abroad as his reason for not staying.
