Leeds United Introduce Klich as First Summer Signing

BEESTON, England. June 24 (PSN) – Leeds United FC have signed Mateusz Klich from FC Twente – the English club announced on its official website.

However, the amount of the transfer was not disclosed.

The 27-year-old signed a three-year contract with the EFL Championship club. He has also become the first player to be introduced to Elland Road during the summer transfer window.

“I’m glad I joined such a big club. I cannot wait to play in these famous colors,” Klich told LUTV.

“I’m excited to go to England. I cannot wait to see how I’ll do in the Championship,” added the Polish international.

“The team last season was close to promotion to the Premier League. Let’s hope the next season is even better. I’m already waiting to meet my new teammates next week” he admitted.
