GDANSK, Poland. June 28 (PSN) – As reported by the German specialist magazine “Kicker”, Lechia Gdansk are keen to bring in Jakub Blaszczykowski to the Energa Gdansk Stadium.
The Polish international would be dealt the Gdansk club in the summer transfer window.
“Kicker” does not, however, give any details about the potential move – such as how long negotiations have so far been taking place, what kind of contract would come into play, and what amount of fee would ultimately satisfy VfL Wolfsburg to let Blaszczykowski go, whom still has a valid contract with Wolfsburg until June 2019.
It is also likely that Lechia Gdansk may have only probed about the possibility of bringing in Jakub Blaszczykowski, and so far no serious negotiations have taken place.
According to the German media, Blaszczykowski also has offers from Chinese, Japanese and American clubs. Only a few weeks ago, the 91-time capped Polish international decided that in the summer transfer window he would not be moving away from Wolfsburg, but rather fight to for a place in the starting eleven for the Wolves.
Blaszczykowski last season played 30 matches for VfL Wolfsburg, both in the Bundesliga and the German Cup.
