
POZNAN, Poland. July 11 (PSN) – UC Sampdoria have claimed Dawid Kownacki from Lech Poznan on a definite transfer, the Stadio Luigi Ferraris club said on his official website.
The 20-year-old traveled to Italy on Monday night. On Tuesday he underwent medical tests and signed a contract.
The details of the Italian club transfer have not revealed.
Sky Sport Italia reports that Lech Poznan will receive about 4.5 million euros for him plus an additional 2 million in bonuses.
SampNews24, however, reports that the contract of the former Kolejorz player will be valid for five years.
In the past 2016/2017 season Kownacki played in 27 Ekstraklasa matches and 5 in the Puchar Polski. He scored 11 goals and recorded 3 assists.
At Sampdoria he will join two other Poles in Bartosz Bereszynski and Karol Linetty.
