UCL: Sure Triumph in Finland for Legia

MARIEHAMN, Finland. July 12 (PSN) – In the first leg of the second round of UEFA Champions League qualification, Legia Warsaw won 3:0 (3:0) with Finnish club IFK Mariehamn.

Final score: IFK Mariehamn – Legia Warsaw 0:3

Goals for Legia were scored by Guilherme from a penalty kick, Dominik Nagy and finally Kasper Hamalainen.

This was most definitely a better showing than a year ago when Legia Warsaw started their adventure in Europe. While twelve months ago the Legion only drew 1:1 with Zrinjski Mostar in their first match, they instead won 3:0 here with IFK Mariehamn on Wednesday night, taking a big step towards qualifying to the third round of the UEFA Champions League qualification.

The second leg match will take place on July 19 at in Warsaw.
