Milik Forced Out of Napoli Victory with Injury

NAPLES, Italy. September 24 (PSN) – Polish national team striker Arkadiusz Milik has recently suffered a knee injury, which will see him possibly out of action for some time.

Milik was hurt during a 3:2 win over SPAL on Saturday, with Napoli moving first place in the Serie A over the weekend.

The striker was forced out of the game in the 70th minute and rumours are spreading that it may be yet another ACL injury.

Napoli reported that the Pole will meet with a specialist soon because “there is a possibility that an operation will be needed.”

“The Pineta Grande clinic will respond to the need for surgery,” says the Italian club.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Milik will undergo a surgery on Monday.
