Nations League: Jerzy Brzeczek Announces Squad for Portugal and Italy

WARSAW, Poland. October 1 (PSN) – Following in line with many predictions, Polish national team coach Jerzy Brzeczek had revealed his call-ups on Monday for the players who would make up the squad for the UEFA Nations League games against Portugal and Italy.

Jakub Blaszczykowski, Paweł Olkowski and Kamil Grosicki, among others, were those named in the international call-ups list for Poland.

Brzeczek decided to call-up three goalkeepers, nine defenders, twelve midfielders and three forwards for the two important fixtures this month. To no ones surprise, the highly rated Krzysztof Piatek was once again included in the squad, who is currently the top goal scorer in the Serie A and Europe in general.

Both games with Portugal and Italy will take place at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzow.

The first game against Portugal is scheduled for October 11 (Thursday), and three days later the Poles will face Italy on October 14 (Sunday).
