KRAKOW, Poland. November 5 (PSN) – According to Przeglad Sportowy, the scenario that Jakub Blaszczykowski will be joining the ranks of the Wisla Krakow in the winter transfer window is becoming ever so likely.
The experienced Polish international during the last bialo-czerwoni training camp in Katowice had already held talks with Wisla coach Maciej Stolarczyk and general manager Arkadiusz Glowacki.
Its now expected that Wisla will also sit down with VfL Wolfsburg administration sometime this month regarding a winter transfer for Blaszczykowski.
Blaszczykowski is no stranger to Krakow, having defended the colors of Wisla since before he left to for Germany in 2007.
This season, the 32-year-old has appeared in only two games for Wolfsburg. He recorded only 12 minutes in the Bundesliga while seven minutes in a German Cup match. Such a state of affairs has Blaszczykowski yearning for return back to Poland for playing time.
