WARSAW, Poland. Aug 8 (PSN) – Legia Warsaw took part in the first leg of the third round of UEFA Europa League qualifiers on Thursday.
Legia continued another game in Europe where they go on without scoring a goal, ending their first encounter with Atromitos FC 0:0 at home. The Polish side dominated all game long, peppering shots at the Atromitos net at every opportunity and even going double digits on corners. However, sloppy decision making in front of the net and some big saves from the visitors goalkeeper Balazs Megyeri meant that Legia couldn’t catch a break. While the Greek outfit had a poor outing, they did nonetheless manage to avoid conceding in the away match and will certainly take their home game in the next leg more seriously.
