NYON, Switzerland. June 20 (PSN) – On Monday in Nyon the draw for UEFA 2016/2017 competitions was held.
Clubs from the Ekstraklasa competing in the qualifying rounds for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League learned of their (potential) opponents.
For the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League Legia Warsaw will play against Bosnian side HSK Zrinjski Mostar. The Legionistas will play away for the first match.
Meanwhile, Piast Gliwice learned of their potential opponents in the UEFA Europe League. The Silesian club will play the victor between IFK Goteborg (Sweden) – Llandudno FC (Wales). Piast for the first match will play at home.
If Zaglebie Lubin eliminate the Bulgarian PFC Slavia Sofia in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League they will play against Serbia’s FK Partizan Belgrade. In the case of advancing, Zagi would play the first match away.
If Cracovia Krakow eliminate Macedonian outfit FK Shkendija in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, in the second round they will play the victor between Neftci PFK (Azerbaijan) – FC Balzan (Malta). Cracovia would play away in the first fixture.
